The Artist Behind the Work

Artboard 1.jpg

My work explores the unseen — the emotional, intuitive, and infinite spaces that exist both within us and beyond us. Inspired by the vastness of the universe and the quiet complexity of inner life, I create paintings that sit somewhere between the grounded and the cosmic.

Creativity has shaped my path from an early age. After studying BTEC Art & Design, I went on to earn a degree in Graphic Design, later building a career within the creative industry. That foundation continues to inform my practice; composition, balance, and visual clarity remain instinctive. Yet painting offers something design never could: complete freedom. It is where structure softens and intuition takes over.

Painting from my studio in North West London home, my practice is deeply personal and reflective. The studio is both workspace and sanctuary, a place of stillness within the movement of family life. As a mother of three, I navigate the interplay between responsibility and imagination daily. Motherhood has expanded my perspective, bringing new layers of vulnerability, resilience, and depth to my work. Themes of growth, identity, space, and quiet transformation often surface naturally through this lived experience.

I am drawn to contrasts, softness and strength, order and fluidity, intimacy and vastness. Through abstraction, texture, and atmosphere, I aim to create work that invites pause. Each piece becomes an opening: a moment to look inward, to breathe, and to consider our place within something far larger than ourselves.

My practice is ultimately about connection - to self, to space, and to the extraordinary within the everyday.
